Café Joyeux

Café Joyeux is a French brand founded in 2017 by Yann and Lydwine Bucaille with a clear mission: create real, meaningful employment for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD), including Down syndrome and autism. Not sheltered workshops — real jobs, real training, real wages.

In Portugal, the story has a deeply personal origin. Filipa Pinto Coelho, president of VilacomVida, became pregnant with Manuel, a child with Trisomy 21. That experience led her to bring Café Joyeux to Portugal. Today, four locations operate across Lisbon and Cascais — S. Bento, Edifício Ageas Tejo, Cascais, and Telheiras — employing and training 30 people with IDD.

Café Joyeux produces specialty coffee in beans, ground, and capsule formats, along with a selection of teas and herbal teas. Every product is made with the same care and intentionality that defines the brand. 100% of profits are reinvested to support training and employment for people with IDD.

At Colheita, we curate products that reflect what good business looks like — transparent, purposeful, and rooted in something real. Café Joyeux fits that perfectly. When your office orders Café Joyeux, you're not just choosing great coffee. You're supporting a team that believes inclusion isn't a CSR checkbox — it's a way of doing business.
